CPCD, #1810, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. Course completion and awarding of certificate requires attendance at all hours, participation in experiential learning exercises and completion of the course evaluation. A record of attendance will be kept and participants may request duplicate certificates for a period of time no less than 7 years.

Mary Margaret Hill, LPC
Mary Margaret Hill LPC is the founder and director for MMH Professional Counseling LLC, a mental health & wellness practice specializing in trauma, grief & loss, and spirituality. She offers over 20 years of clinical experience & expertise to her clients and colleagues. Mary Margaret has been an advocate for the counseling profession for over 20 years culminating in her role as Legislative Chair for the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia. Her advocacy helped ensure the passage of "Privileged Communication" for (LPC's, LCSW's and LMFT's), and her leadership as chair lead to the passage of a two tiered licensing structure for professional counselors which strengthened the profession of counseling in Georgia and increased the number of counselors from diverse backgrounds providing therapy in Georgia. Mary Margaret has also throughout her career provided consultation and training for various Fortune 500 companies in the US and Canada. In addition to a full-time practice and speaking engagements Mary Margaret is currently working on a book regarding early advocacy in Georgia for licensed counselors.
